Directions: From Greeneville, TN, 11E: Hwy. 107 to Erwin. Right on 351 (107 cut-off). Left at Appco (350). Right at Creekside Market. Bear right at curve in front of Camp Creek Elementary. Take next left
(Greene Mountain Road), go up hill and turn left into facility.
There's wonderful hiking along the Bullen Hollow Trail, and a day on the slopes of Wolf Ridge is just what you need. Don't leave The Oaks Retreat Center without first going for a hike along the Greene Mountain
Trail, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Spring Creek. Going for a hike on the Trail of the Lonesome Pine is always a wonderful adventure; since you're here and you like golf, you can pop by Kinser Park Golf Course. High temperatures at The Oaks Retreat Center through the summer
months are in the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at The Oaks Retreat Center. So much amusing stuff in the vicinity of The Oaks
Retreat Center, absolutely amazing. This campground is so stunning. This is a popular place for people from Greeneville; don't forget to take a good little journey to Tipton Creek. This is beyond doubt a good campground. While you're here at The Oaks Retreat Center you can play
some golf at River Trace Golf Club, and glide down the rapids of French Broad River in a kayak. Lots of rainfall falls at The Oaks Retreat Center; throughout May this area sees the most rain, and the driest month of the year is October. Having a good time at The Oaks Retreat
Center is simple. Go for a hike on the Camp Creek Trail. Lakes? Sure, Kidwell Pond is around here. Paddling on Big Laurel Creek is so much fun, and a trip here wouldn’t be complete without a tour to nearby Davy Crockett Birthplace State. A golf course right next door to The Oaks Retreat Center is Andrew Johnson Golf Club; you simply must check out Devils Elbow since you're here at The Oaks Retreat Center.
