Go for a hike on the Sylvan Lake Harney Trail, and if you're going to from Custer, you won't be the only one. And if that's not sufficient there's a heap more entertaining things to do in the Black Hills.
All the smiling folks and the ably looked after facilities attract folks from all over. You absolutely must love Black Hill Camp and Breakfast. Places like Custer State Park are pleasant to pop by; if you haven’t been to Jewel Cave National Monument, you should schedule some time for it if you're here. This is in fact a great campground. Going for a hike on the Sunday Gulch Trail is always a good adventure, and Black Hill Camp and Breakfast is in the neighborhood of Allen Gulch which is positively worth visiting.

Looking for some flowing water? Try Newton Fork, and visiting Mount Rushmore National Memorial is just something you need to do if you haven't yet. And that's not everything you can do here in the Black Hills. There's whitewater on Whitewood Creek for all you adrenaline people; Terry Peak is a pleasant local ski area.
