Located on 10. 42 acres at the southern tip of the Rocky Mountains, our pristine surroundings and beautiful campsites are unsurpassed. We are Big Rig friendly with pull-thrus and large back-in spaces. All 46 sites are complete with full hook-ups (50/30 amp service, water and sewer), picnic tables, fire rings (no fire rings at pull-thrus) and 12 common-area BBQ grills. We have recently introduced resort-wide |
FREE WiFi for all of our customers at every campsite.
We also feature a clean infloor-heated bathhouse with handicap accessibility as well as a complete laundry facility with new Maytag washers & dryers.

A trip to El Vado Lake State Park rejuvenates the soul; Kays Lake is a great lake close by. And if that's not enough there's loads more fun stuff to do in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. There's perfect hiking along the Notch Trail; some of the water close by flows, like Little Willow Creek. There are pleasant places to look at along the Elk Creek Trail; whitewater paddling is magnificent on Rio de los Brazos.

are commonly in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Sky Mountain Resort. This is such a scenic campground. Going for a hike on the Red Lake Trail is always a good adventure, and paddling on Rio Brazos is so much
fun. This campground is always a diversion. Don't leave Sky Mountain Resort without first going for a hike along the Posos Trail, and Rabbit Peak is simple to spot from Sky Mountain Resort.
Much rain falls at Sky Mountain Resort; most of the snow falls during March, and the
driest month of the year is June. Just can't get enough of the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. Sky Mountain Resort is not far at all from Chama; if you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Rio Chama. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining
things near Sky Mountain Resort. Near Sky Mountain Resort you hit upon the La Manga Stock Driveway which is a pleasant hiking trail, and Heron Lake State Park is a pleasant place.
