Armstrong Creek RV Park is a quite wet place mostly with much precipitation; March is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month is December. There's so much stuff to do at Armstrong Creek RV Park including swimming, whitewater paddling, fishing, and hiking, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. You can run the rapids of Catawba River - North Fork in close proximity to Armstrong Creek RV Park; obviously, this is a brilliant neighborhood for people who like lakes, Taylors Lake is a lake in
 
the neighborhood.
Just can't get enough of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Catawba River is a glorious whitewater spot close to Armstrong Creek RV Park, and a nice view of wonderful Grant Mountain is available. The obliging operators of the campground and all the amusing things to do have folks coming from all over.
Pack your tent and sleeping bag and get your motor running; Armstrong Creek RV Park in North Carolina is the outdoors at its greatest. During the summertime at Armstrong Creek RV Park highs are usually in the 80's while overnight lows are usually in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Armstrong Creek RV Park. This is such a fun location for a campground. If the weather is wonderful here at Armstrong Creek RV Park, you can go for a hike along the Bald Mountain Trail, and you can never get enough of the fine skiing at Sugar Mountain.
In case you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Curtis Creek, and Mount Mitchell State Park is both good and scenic.
