Gambrill State Park, Maryland Custom Search   Hiking here is delightful exercise, and enjoyable for everyone; if you love comfort, there are good cabins at this campground. Restrooms are of course offered, and on a sunny day it's a nice idea to take pleasure in the weather at the picnic area. Hope you enjoy fishing, Gambrill State Park has some good fishing. You are welcome to have a campfire at this campground. There are fine tent sites here where you may pitch that tent, and there's a good playground       at Gambrill State Park to keep the children merry. An outstanding bicycle ride here is always enjoyable, and there are showers here at Gambrill State Park. A store is on hand for your convenience here at Gambrill State Park. You may   go for a tremendous swim at this campground, and Gambrill State Park is an outstanding place for horseback riding. The US 40 to Potomac River sector on Catoctin Creek is a nearby category I-II whitewater section, 28.8 miles from beginning to end. Generally this section of Catoctin Creek is not a demanding spot for kayak paddling. For your security you must always check current conditions in advance of going kayak paddling. For all you bowlers, Sunshine Lanes       & Lounge is a magnificent bowling alley near Gambrill State Park. Nearby Crumland Farms is cool for the whole family, and hiking along the High Rock Nature Trail is good fun. This campground is so beautiful. Take a trip to close by   Lucia Farm and ride a horse, and do take a hike on the Cunningham Falls Nature Trail. A visit to a close by bowling alley like Village Lanes Bowling Center is always exciting, and there are plenty of folks from Middletown here at Gambrill State Park. You're in all probability interested in lakes, Culler Lake is one of those nearby.
