A great spot to explore near The Chimney's Campground is Whiteoak Gap, and a spree to Russell Cave National Monument is worthwhile. Lakes are such serene places, why not visit Dyer Lake in close proximity to The Chimney's Campground, and Little River Canyon National Preserve is a great national park.

The Chimney's Campground is an old favorite with campers from Trenton. Have a good hiking adventure along the Lookout Creek Trail, and there's some out of the ordinary stuff to make out at Dyer Lake Dam in the neighborhood
of The Chimney's Campground.
Some nearby water includes Town Creek, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Skyuka Trail. There's such a large number of things to do near The Chimney's Campground; if you're trying to find a great place to go for a weekend of camping, this
is a pleasant selection. A campground like this is too good to miss. A trip to Cloudland Canyon State Park when you're here at The Chimney's Campground is never a bad idea, and a good site for whitewater paddling is Bear Creek.

is right by the Bluff Trail; get your heart pumping on the wonderful whitewater of Daniel Creek. There's more to do right next door to The Chimney's Campground other than just hanging out such as swimming, hiking, whitewater paddling, playing golf, and fishing, so running out of
entertaining stuff to do won’t happen.
Camping in Georgia is such a fun activity. Through the warm days of summer at The Chimney's Campground temperatures are typically in the 80's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at The Chimney's Campground.
