Peacock Springs State Recreation Area is a tremendous place to stop by, and at Florida       River Camp you always meet someone from Jennings. This campground is a lovely place to stop at. For you golfers we recommend nearby Suwannee Country Club, and a golf course close by is Madison Country Club. An afternoon playing golf   at Francis Lake Golf Course is always a pleasure. The high level of rain makes Florida River Camp a pretty wet site. The month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and October is when it's the driest. Summertime brings highs in the 90's to Florida River Camp with night lows in the 60's.
