The tough slopes at       Lost Trail Powder Mountain account for 20% of the slopes, and they are extremely magnificent; novices and little ones are in luck too, 80% of the 1,800 acres of skiing land are covered by easy slopes. There's a glorious grade III   sweep of whitewater close by on Salmon River, the 39-mile-from-start-to-finish North Fork to Middle Fork sector. By and large this sweep of Salmon River is an exciting place for paddling. Of course, paddling is exciting but perilous; check the situation before heading out. Looking for some flowing water?
