Garst Farm Resort, Iowa Amenities AMENITIES Tent camping is available - WRC's main campground along the banks of the Middle Raccoon River has 6 camping sites, each equipped with a fire ring and picnic table. Cold water showers and port-o-potties are available. Horse pens are available on site for an extra fee. No RV hookups Pets are allowed - Pets are allowed on our land and in most facilities, except the Bed & Breakfast. Campfires are allowed - Due to Emerald Ash Borer, visitors MUST NOT bring in outside firewood. Firewood is available on site for a small fee. No Store - Whiterock's historic Bed & Breakfast at the Garst Home Farm offers a small gift shop selling locally crafted goods such as honey and wax candles from a nearby apiary, pressed flower pictures, books, and jams. Grocery store nearby - Frohlich's Supervalu is located in the nearby town of Coon Rapids. No pool - Coon Rapids offers visitors a great Aquatic Center. No Game Room Showers - Cold water, gravity fed shower at the campground and cabin. No running water available on these sites. Hot water showers and running water available in all other facilities. No laundry facilities - Note that visitors to 805 River Cabin must bring own linens. Restaurant(s) nearby - In Coon Rapids, visitors can enjoy ''the best burger in Carroll County'' at the bowling alley, Coon Bowl III. There is also a family diner and pizza and sub shop in town. Fishing - Visitors are welcome to fish the river or ponds on Whiterock's property. No boating No activities for kids
