Fort Yargo State Park, Georgia Custom Search   There's an outstanding nature trail here; if you fancy boating you are in luck, boating is pleasant here. You may take a good swim at this campground; hope you enjoy fishing, the fishing is wonderful . Playing       some golf is a tremendous way to spend some time, and bait and tackle is available at this campground. Rent a boat here at Fort Yargo State Park, and go for a ride on the water, and boats can be launched at the boat ramp. The GA Route   81 to US 278 portion has a length of 21 miles; you locate this section of whitewater on Alcovy River. It's a type II-III section. This section of Alcovy River is appropriate for whitewater boaters who have been whitewater kayaking or rafting for a period of time but who are not yet ready for the exceptionally treacherous rapids.
