| | This is such a tremendous campground. Whitewater paddling is tremendous on Amicalola Creek; nearby you stumble on the Black Mountain Trail which is a great hiking trail. As if Under the Hemlock wasn't sufficient, you can also go fishing, hiking, whitewater paddling, and swimming, so you won’t run out of things to do. Vogel State Park is worth going to if you're at Under the Hemlock, and you don’t have to go far from Under the Hemlock to see the water at Amicalola Lake Dam. is March while October is regularly the driest month. There are so many cool things near Under the Hemlock, and it's always fun to be at this place. The caring operators of the campground and the fantastically skillfully operated facilities are in themselves incentive enough to
| come here. Ok, you've been cooped up for too much time, and Under the Hemlock in Georgia is such a great location. It's totally impossible to get bored in Georgia if you have a thing about the outdoors. The Blue Ridge Mountains scenery is always delightful. A lot of folks stay here when going to Amicalola Falls and Lodge State Park. So much amusing stuff to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains, not enough time. A tour to Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area is worthwhile, and from Under the Hemlock you get a great view of Grogan Mountain. | |

There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Going for a hike on the Brookshire Creek Trail is always a good adventure, and there is a brilliant hiking trail nearby called the Benton Mackaye Trail. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to
Under the Hemlock while overnight lows are frequently in the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Under the Hemlock are in the 20's. This is no spot for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Everybody loves Amicalola
Falls and Lodge State Park; there are plenty of folks from Marble Hill here at Under the Hemlock. This is such a delightful campground. So many local attractions and such a great variety of outdoors recreation will make you happy you came. Under the Hemlock is a campground prized by folks in Marble Hill. Get wet paddling on Long Swamp Creek; a lake nearby is Amicalola Lake.
