R-Ranch in the Mountains, Blue Ridge Mountains, Georgia Custom Search   The resort is very nice, beautifully landscaped. Site we were on 519 had no tv or satallite reception. So much fun stuff next to R-Ranch       in the Mountains; spending time at this campground is exceptionally enjoyable. R-Ranch in the Mountains is a campground prized by the people in Dahlonega. This camp ground is located in the scenic Blue Ridge Mountains. There's   plenty of outdoors recreation available in the vicinity such as swimming, whitewater paddling, playing golf, fishing, and hiking, so you won’t get bored. The kind reception and all the fun stuff to do attract folks from far and wide. Georgia is a splendid place for outdoors folks. Scores of people camp here to be near Vogel State Park. Near R-Ranch in the Mountains is a good 2-mile-from-beginning-to-end section of whitewater on Dicks Creek, a type IV, this is       the Waters Creek Campground to Turners Corner segment. It can be said that this section of Dicks Creek is a location for fun paddling. Whitewater kayaking and rafting can get hazardous, so check the situation ahead of going. Chestnut   Knob can be spotted from R-Ranch in the Mountains; R-Ranch in the Mountains is right by the DeSoto Falls Trail. You completely must love the Blue Ridge Mountains. Head out on the stunning water at Blairsville Docks Unlimited; why not take a refreshing hike along the Black Mountain Trail.
