If you come at the right time of year, Animas River offers some glorious whitewater; if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Middle Mancos River. Echo Basin Ranch is a location that is rather dehydrated ordinarily; throughout March this area sees the most rain; June is the month with the least moisture. You just must adore Echo Basin Ranch. Weber Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could go to, and you can have a splendid hiking adventure along the Chicken Creek Trail.
