Get yourself into a kayak and hit Rio Grande, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend San Juan River - East Fork. If the weather is tremendous here at Riverbend Resort, you can go for a hike along the Wolf Creek Stock Driveway, and there are some nice whitewater spots     on Wolf Creek. Riverbend Resort is frequently visited by the folks from South Fork. The welcoming environment and lots of cool things to do attract people from all over. Be careful coming to Riverbend Resort, you might not ever wanna return home again. Near Riverbend Resort you locate the Highline Trail which is a delightful hiking trail, and a delightful place is Poison Gulch. Colorado is a perfect outdoors state. The Silver Creek Trail is a magnificent hiking trail near Riverbend Resort, and Riverbend Resort is not the only site nearby, Mill Creek Reservoir is a nearby lake. Some of the things you can do here at Riverbend Resort are hiking, whitewater paddling, swimming, and fishing, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors enjoyable stuff the San   Juan and Jemez Mountains has to offer. On a perfect day at Riverbend Resort you can take a hike along the Hot Creek Stock Driveway, and do visit Beaver Creek while you're here at Riverbend Resort. All the water falling down from the sky makes Riverbend Resort a wet spot; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most snow, and the driest month is June. Such a good choice of attractions and the nearby outdoors recreation will undeniably have you coming back repeatedly. You have to get out of the house, and Riverbend Resort in Colorado is a perfect place to go. High temperatures at Riverbend Resort throughout the months of summer are in the 60's; the night is fairly cooler of course, typically in the 40's. Highs during the wintertime are mostly in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Riverbend Resort are in the 0's. This is such a pleasant campground. Wolf Creek is a very popular ski area close at hand; an attention-grabbing thing to stop at close to Riverbend Resort is Mill Creek Dam.
