Get your heart pumping on the splendid whitewater of Willamette River, and Richardson Park is near Siuslaw National Forest which is a beautiful place. When you're here at Richardson Park it's always fun to explore Jasper State Park, and Richardson Park is not far at all from Elmira. So much fun stuff to do in the Coast Ranges, not sufficient time. Inman Creek is a stream that you may stumble upon while here, and Richardson Butte is a peak you can make out from Richardson Park. There is so much amusing stuff in the vicinity of Richardson Park, and to be here is always fun. The Coast Ranges scenery is always striking. A common amount of rain falls here at Richardson Park; of all the months in a year December is the one with   the most rain; the driest month is July. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Alsea River - South Fork, and you can take a little trip to Fern Ridge Dam if you're here at Richardson Park.
