Rufus RV Park, Oregon Custom Search   Rufus RV Park is located in the beautiful Columbia River Gorge along I-84.  We are midway between Pendleton & Portland and near the John Day Dam and Deschutes River.  Great fishing and boat ramps are nearby.  We have 57 spaces with full hook-ups (except cable TV), 30 & 50 amp service, pull-thrus, laundromat, showers and a cabin rental.  Our park is away from the railroad tracks so the atmosphere is quiet with lots of shade trees.  Take Exit 109 off I-84 and follow the signs to 311 Wallace St.  Call us at 541-739-2272 if you have questions. At this campground you will always have a great time. Brooks Memorial State Park is both perfect and pretty, and it's near Rufus RV Park, and whitewater paddling is brilliant on Little Klickitat River. Rufus RV Park is a location that is pretty arid usually; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most snow; the driest month is July. You certainly have to explore Maryhill State Park if you're here at Rufus RV Park, and you'll hit upon a stunning lake called Lake Umatilla. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors cool stuff the area close to Rufus RV Park has to offer. Scott Canyon is in the neighborhood of Rufus RV Park and is a good site, and glide   down the rapids of Swale Creek in a kayak. All through the summertime months at Rufus RV Park temperatures are generally in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's. Highs throughout the wintertime are frequently in the 30's with temperatures at Rufus RV Park dipping down into the 20's during winter nights.
