The Berry Falls sector is a magnificent 0.1-mile-in-distance category III stretch of whitewater on Berry Bridge       Creek. When the conditions are right this stretch of Berry Bridge Creek is an amusing stretch of river for kayak paddling. Check current conditions prior to departure on the whitewater, or else it's not safe and sound. Here at Fritz's   Island Campground there are plenty of folks from Sparks, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Smith Falls Trails. Niobrara National Scenic River is a very great place to explore in close proximity to Fritz's Island Campground. It is very dry here at Fritz's Island Campground generally.
