Take a picnic basket on the 3/4 mile hike to Inspiration Point, where you may relax on a park bench and enjoy the spectacular view of the North Fork River. The |
trail is well marked and at a gentle enough incline for almost anyone to make the trip.

The River of Life Spring On your Ozark nature hike, enjoy the River of Life Spring as the small babbling brook it makes on its way to the North
| Fork River.
While hiking, you're likely to encounter a few of the many species of wildlife that inhabit or visit the grounds including deer, turkey, bald eagles, raccoons, and bob cats. As you explore the woodlands, bluffs, ravines, cave, and riverside you're sure to encounter a few of these local residents, as well as others.
While streamside you might view a Missouri wild rainbow trout come to the surface to inhale a floating insect. Depending on the time of day of your Ozark hiking trip, you could see a great blue heron flying the river, looking | |

for dinner. Numerous wood ducks and others birds also inhabit the North Fork River. What a great place to go Missouri hiking.
Not far from River of Life Farm, you'll locate Dawt Mill Pond which is a gorgeous lake; during your trip here you'll meet some people from Tecumseh
for sure. At River of Life Farm during the warm months highs are in the 90's. During the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's while River of Life Farm night low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 10's. River of Life
Farm is a wet site that gets a good deal of rain; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is January.
If you adore the outdoors you'll adore it here in the Ozarks. While you're here at River of Life Farm you can take a
hike along the Ridge Runner NR Trail, and obviously James Branch is a pretty stream that is worth stopping at. This campground has so incredibly much. A good place right next door to River of Life Farm is Spoon Hollow; Bull Shoals State Park is a tremendous site to check out on a wonderful day.
