Lots of folks camp here throughout their journey to St. Francois State Park. Coming to this campground is always a tremendous idea. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Stouts Creek. There is so much cool stuff near Cherokee Landing, and if you're searching for a great place to go camping, this is a great choice.

If you're interested in hydro structures, you can stop at Lake Timberline Dam, and Vinegar Hill is beautiful and can be seen from here.
