gotta get out now and then, and Holy Smoke Resort, South Dakota is a nice place for getting out. The fine selection of local attractions, and so much stuff to do will make you happy you came. If the weather is good here at Holy Smoke Resort, you can go for a hike along the
| Iron Creek Trail, and if you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Battle Creek. The Black Hills scenery is always pretty. The Flume Trail is a wonderful hiking trail close to Holy Smoke Resort; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at nearby Horse Thief Lake. At Holy Smoke Resort fun stuff to do is abundant, and it is a very nice campground. Now, you may assume that's lots but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Holy Smoke Resort. Coming to this campground is always a brilliant idea. A glorious place to check out near Holy Smoke Resort is Buckeye Gulch, and on a gorgeous day you get a great vista of Ingersoll Peak from Holy Smoke Resort. I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a good time here at Holy Smoke Resort.
Visiting Jewel Cave National Monument is just something you need to do if you haven't yet, and you're sure to come across some smiling people from Keystone here. Outdoors folks generally have a thing about this part of South Dakota. At Holy Smoke Resort you don’t see much precipitation;
most of the rain falls through June; January on the other hand is the driest. Outdoors recreation is plentiful, some of the fun stuff you can do is swimming, fishing, hiking, and whitewater paddling, so you won’t run out of things to do. Man, is there heaps of fun things to
do in the Black Hills. Angostura Recreation Area is a good place, and if you haven’t been to Mount Rushmore National Memorial, you must schedule some time for it while you're here. At Holy Smoke Resort through the summer months highs are in the 70's, and during summer nights temperatures
are in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Holy Smoke Resort sink into the 0's. So many cool things to do here in the Black Hills, too brilliant to be true. There is a nice hiking trail near Holy Smoke Resort called the Horse Thief Lake Trail, and sites like Custer State Park are splendid to explore.
