This bit of Namekagon River is proposed for beginner paddlers. If you are going whitewater kayaking or rafting, you must always check restrictions. Don't forget to take a nice little visit to Squaw Lake Creek, and a lake       close by is Grindstone Lake. Christie Mountain is a fine local ski area, and there is a magnificent hiking trail close by called the Serley Camp Trail. This campground has so many enjoyable things to offer. Play a little mini golf   at Fiddler's Creek Golf Range near Trail's End Resort, and close by you stumble on the Hardwood Trail which is a good hiking trail. During a wintertime visit to Trail's End Resort you could also stop by M & M Sport & Rent ALL and rent a snow mobile.
