Brunet Island State Park is a picturesque spot any time of year, and there's some out of the ordinary stuff to see at Thornapple Dam close to River's Edge Park. This section of Wisconsin has a good deal of outdoors activities on hand. A lot of folks camp here through their journey to Brunet Island State Park. Old Abe State Trail is a brilliant spot to pop by, and River's Edge Park is right by the Hay Meadow Trail. This campground is always a bliss. Take a hike on the Hickory Ridge Trail. The folks who look after the campground and the splendid facilities are in themselves incentive enough to come here. The delightful pick of local attractions, and the delightful variety of outdoors recreation will make you glad you came. At River's   Edge Park through the long summer days highs are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 20's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at River's Edge Park temperatures drop to the-10's. River's Edge Park is not far at all from Bruce; get your pulse rate up on the magnificent whitewater of Duncan Creek. This is such a charming campground. Christie Mountain has great slopes and a friendly staff, and the Deer Fly Trail offers hiking at its best. If you fancy the outdoors, you won’t be let down; there's fishing, hiking, whitewater paddling, and swimming, so it's out of the question to get bored.
