The Laurel Falls Trail is a great hiking trail right next door to Waldens Creek Campground, and if you come at the right time of year, Little Pigeon River - West Prong offers some great whitewater. As if Waldens Creek Campground wasn't enough, you can also go fishing, whitewater paddling, swimming, hiking, and playing golf, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen.

At Waldens Creek Campground throughout the months of summer highs are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 60's. Highs during the winter are typically in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Waldens Creek
Campground. The surroundings of this campground have so much stuff to offer. Go for a hike on the Meigs Mountain Trail, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Pigeon Forge here.
Tennessee is a great place for outdoors folks. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes
of close by Ober Gatlinburg, and a fine place like Panther Creek State Park is too delightful to leave out. Going for a hike on the Jakes Creek Trail is always a magnificent adventure, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to nearby Hidden Mountain Lake
