  This campground is so wonderful. The Laurel Falls Trail is a great hiking trail right next door to Waldens Creek Campground, and if you come at the right time of year, Little Pigeon River - West Prong offers some great whitewater. As if Waldens Creek Campground wasn't enough, you can also go fishing, whitewater paddling, swimming, hiking, and playing golf, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen.
Waldens Creek Campground generally gets much precipitation; March is when you get the most rain here while October is frequently the
    driest month. Nearby Henderson Springs Hollow is a great place to go if you're at Waldens Creek Campground, and close by you come across the Sugarland Mountain Trail which is a pleasant hiking trail. It's been too long since you went outside, and Waldens Creek Campground in Tennessee
is a really great place to spend some time.
Get yourself into a kayak and hit Cove Creek, and from Waldens Creek Campground you acquire a good view of Pine Mountain. Loads of people stay here in order to be close to Great Smoky Mountains National Park. That right there is heaps already, but it keeps on going; Waldens Creek Campground has it all. At Waldens Creek Campground throughout the months of summer highs are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 60's. Highs during the winter are typically in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Waldens Creek Campground. The surroundings of this campground have so much stuff to offer. Go for a hike on the Meigs Mountain Trail, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Pigeon Forge here.
Tennessee is a great place for outdoors folks. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Ober Gatlinburg, and a fine place like Panther Creek State Park is too delightful to leave out. Going for a hike on the Jakes Creek Trail is always a magnificent adventure, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to nearby Hidden Mountain Lake Number One.
This is no spot for people who don’t like to have fun. Why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Eagle's Landing Golf Course; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Little Pigeon River - West Prong. Waldens Creek Campground is a popular spot with people of Pigeon Forge.
So many local attractions and such a delightful variety of outdoors recreation will positively have you coming back time and again.
