Solitude Pointe, South Carolina Custom Search   Solitude Pointe is the perfect place to ''relax and renew.''  We offer a quiet, peaceful atmosphere where families can reconnect.  Whether you stay in one of our luxury cabins or bring your own camper or tent, you are sure to enjoy your surroundings.  Centrally located just 15 minutes from three state parks, Solitude Pointe is a great starting point for hiking, biking and waterfalls.  There are miles and miles of trails at Table Rock, Caesar's Head and Jones Gap State Parks to accommodate the new and seasoned hiker for weeks of fun and adventure.  And     for the adventurous biker, the climb up to the top of the mountain at Caesar's Head is the way to go.  If you prefer to relax at Solitude Pointe, we have a playground, basketball court, horse shoes, tetherball and the Saluda River for fishing and canoeing.  The bathhouse is clean and private, the cabins have hot tubs and DirecTV, and the Wi-Fi is free.  If you try us once, you are sure to come back.  Get dripping wet paddling on South Saluda River, and popping by Table Rock State Park is a wonderful thing to do. South Saluda River has a delightful whitewater paddling spot nearby, and the Laurel Mountain Trail offers hiking at its best. For the period of the warmest time of the year at Solitude Pointe highs are generally in the 80's while nighttime lows are commonly in the 50's. Highs through the winter are generally in the   40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Solitude Pointe. A perfect place like Caesars Head State Park close to Solitude Pointe is too nice to leave out; Solitude Pointe is not far at all from Cleveland. This place, Solitude Pointe, it definitely has so much outdoors enjoyable stuff. A journey to Blue Ridge Parkway is recommended, and paddling on Matthews Creek is so much fun. If the weather is gorgeous, you get a good sight of Bald Rock from Solitude Pointe; a magnificent site to take a look at nearby is Dowthit Cove. This is such a perfect campground. Getting to Matthews Creek from Solitude Pointe is simple, and there's fine hiking along the Mullinax Trail. This campground is so perfect. You'll stumble on a delightful lake called Mountain Lake near Solitude Pointe, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Solitude Pointe; Black Mountain Trail is a glorious local trail. Solitude Pointe sees pretty high levels of rain; March is when you get the most rain here while January is ordinarily the driest month.
