is a brilliant choice. Now, you may assume that's a lot but there's even more entertaining things to do here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. If you come at the right time of year, Steels Creek offers some brilliant whitewater, and you can have a perfect hiking adventure along the
Daniel Boone Scout Trail. So many local attractions and the great variety of outdoors recreation are nice incentives to come.
This campground is always a pleasure. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Wilson Creek, and there are plenty of people from Morganton here. Loads of people stay at this campground in order to be close to Lake James State Park.
