Going for a great hike is always fun here, and you will hit upon a wonderful swimming pool here, so you could take a bath. A grade II-IV, 1.5-mile-in-length whitewater part can be found on nearby Tygart Valley   River, the Valley Falls to Hammond section. This section of Tygart Valley River is a mid difficulty part for whitewater kayaking and rafting. Whitewater kayaking and rafting can get treacherous, so check conditions ahead of going. If you're looking for a bowling alley close by, Fairmont Bowling Center is near Tygart Lake State Park.
