| | River Run Campground.
River Run has a total of 49 camping sites, of which 26 sites have electric hookups.
Cokeley Campground Area.
Cokeley Campground is a new place to play, fish, hike, bike, or sit by a campfire on a star filled night. There are 28 sites with water and electric hookups. Each site has a picnic table, campfire ring, and lantern post. There are three ADA sites and a modern bathhouse with coin operated washers and dryers. This area opened May 23, 2008.
All sites at Cokeley Campground are first come first serve.
Trails |
have been developed from this area to the main part of the North Bend State Park and the North Bend Rail Trail.
There are five miles of multi use, non motorized trails.
The Cokeley Recreation Area is a recently established area within North Bend State Park. It is
| part of the North Fork of the Hughes River Watershed Project. This project was sponsored by the Little Kanawha Conservation District through the Natural Resource Conservation Service.
Miscellaneous Campground Information
North Bend State Park River Run campground is open from Mid-April through October 31.
Cokeley Campground area opens May 1 and closes September 30.
Reservations are accepted on 15 of North Bend's electric campsites (River Run Campground) from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

Hiking along the River Trail is delightful fun; Forest City Lake is a nearby lake that you could explore. You'll meet a lot of folks from Belmont here.
Throughout the summertime, highs regularly are in the 80's at North Bend State Park. Summer overnight lows plunge down to the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's with temperatures at North Bend State Park dipping down into the 20's through winter nights.
North Bend State Park gets a normal amount of rainfall; July is the wettest month with most rain, and January meanwhile is the driest month.
If you come to this campground, you will have a good time for sure. Have a magnificent hiking adventure along the Lamping Trail; a glorious
place like North Bend Rail Trail State Park is too brilliant to leave out. Spice Run is a beautiful stream that is worth taking a look at, and a visit here wouldn’t be complete without a journey to nearby North Bend State Park.
