This campground is so pleasant. Skiing at Winterplace is one of those things you just should do, and there are fine sites to look at along the Way Back Trail. A tremendous site like Babcock State Park
right next door to Appalachian Wildwaters Campground is too brilliant to leave out; going for a hike on the Carnifex Trail is always a wonderful adventure.
Don't leave Appalachian Wildwaters Campground without going to Hawks Nest State Park, and Adkins Branch is close to Appalachian
Wildwaters Campground and is always a bliss to check out. Summer at Appalachian Wildwaters Campground arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 60's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Appalachian Wildwaters Campground.
