Ski Big Bear is prized by skiers; it has 65% easy slopes and 35% hard slopes. A total of 26 acres of skiing area in all. The 5 different ski lifts move skiers up the 650-foot vertical drop at       the close by ski hill Ski Big Bear. Ski Big Bear obtains an average of 4 feet of snow every season on its 18 slopes. 20% of the 35 acres of skiable territory at Tanglwood consist of difficult trails. But there are magnificent trails   for children and novices as well; 80% of the trails are beginner and intermediate. 4 lifts bring skiers up the hill, so they can take pleasure in the 8 trails of the nearby ski resort, Tanglwood. Tanglwood has a vertical drop of 415 feet and gets blanketed by 3 feet of fluffy snow per winter.
