There are 2 acres of ski terrain       at Abenaki, 33% of the slopes are black and red; those are the ones the expert skiers enjoy the most. 67% of the slopes at Abenaki are beginner and intermediate and well suited for children and novices. Suncook River has a class I-II   section of whitewater nearby. The 2.3-mile-long Suncook dam to Center Barnstead segment is wonderful to run. This section of Suncook River is fitting for whitewater boaters who haven't been kayak paddling for very long. Check restrictions prior to departure on the whitewater, or else it's not safe.
