We have 30 scenic sites that overlook First Connecticut Lake and Malloway Mountain. This year we have been busy upgrading our campground. We now have 18 water and electric sites, 3 drive thru sites, 10 tent sites and 1 group site. All of our cabins are equipped with a stove/oven, refrigerator, microwave,toaster, coffee maker, satellite tv system and a radio alarm clock. Linens, towels, dishes and cookware are provided. Not far from Ramblewood Cabins and Campground you get some great water scenery at First Connecticut Lake Dam, and get your heart pumping on the nice whitewater of Androscoggin River. Now, you may believe that's a heap but there's even more entertaining things to do here in the White Mountains. A pretty lake like Mud Pond close to Ramblewood Cabins and Campground is a pleasant   place to stop by, and a quick journey to Otter Brook is undeniably a pleasant idea. And if that's not enough there's a heap more entertaining stuff to do in the White Mountains. Lots of folks from Pittsburg come to Ramblewood Cabins and Campground, and there are some fine whitewater spots on Mohawk River. Now, you may think that's a heap but there's even more exciting stuff to do here at Ramblewood Cabins and Campground. The snow is pleasant at Balsams Wilderness, and the summit of Covell Mountain can be seen from Ramblewood Cabins and Campground. Ramblewood Cabins and Campground gets a typical amount of rainfall; August is the month that gets the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Ramblewood Cabins and Campground. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's while the cold winter nights at Ramblewood Cabins and Campground are in the-10's. This campground has so much entertaining stuff to offer. A trip to Dixville Notch State Park invigorates the soul, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Diamond River.
