There's a glorious type II-IV part of whitewater close by on Bearcamp River, the 3.5-mile-in-length Bennett   Corner to Whittier sector. In case you don’t want to risk getting soaked this part of Bearcamp River is probably not for you. Whitewater rapids are treacherous matters, so you must check the situation previous to going. If you get bored of Bear's Pine Woods Campground, you could also stop at nearby Lake Kanasatka.
