The warmest time of the year at Camp Roosevelt comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. All through the winter highs are in the 30's, and overnight lows at Camp Roosevelt through the winter frequently descend into the 10's. A lake close by is Lake Erie Girl Scout Lake; since you're here you can take a hike along the Iroquois Trail. But wait, there's more to do near Camp Roosevelt. On a great day at Camp Roosevelt   you can take a hike along the Mohawk Trail, and while you're here you can play some golf at Fairway Pines Golf Course. Just can't get enough of Camp Roosevelt. Take a hike on the Beach Trail, and whitewater paddling is glorious on Paine Creek. Get soaked paddling on Big Creek, and a round of golf at nearby Painesville Country Club is a great way to kill some time. This campground has so much. Have a great hiking adventure along the Mushers Trail, and Casement Golf Club is a perfect golf course close by. Camp Roosevelt is a very popular campground with residents of Perry.
