Nothing beats kicking back at Maple Beach, and a trip to Pleasant Harbor State Park when you're here is never a bad idea. Pleasant Harbor Campground sees pretty high levels of precipitation; throughout December this area sees the most rain, and July on the other hand is the driest.
Whitewater paddling is great on Duckabush River, and do take a hike on the Deadfall Trail.
You completely must fancy Pleasant Harbor Campground. Dosewallips River has a fine whitewater paddling spot close by, and if you're looking for a beach nearby we recommend Scenic Beach.
