Near Cold Brook Campground is a delightful 2.5-mile-in-distance run of whitewater on Blackwater River, a type II-IV, this is the Route 127 to Snyder's Mill sector. The Route 127 to Snyder's Mill sector of Blackwater   River is suitable for whitewater boaters who have been raft paddling for a period of time but who are not yet prepared for the genuinely dangerous rapids. Whitewater rapids are dangerous things, so you must check the situation previous to going. Lakes?
