| | This campground is always a bliss. Adkins Branch is a stream that you may stumble upon while here, and an afternoon playing golf at Bridge Haven Golf Club is always a joy. You believe that's enough? Just getting warmed up. If you haven’t been to Bluestone National Scenic River, you should schedule some time for it since you're here, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Songer Whitewater; Carnifex Trail is a tremendous local trail.
There are some nice whitewater spots on Laurel Creek - New River Tributary, and why not take a refreshing hike along |
the Way Back Trail. Songer Whitewater is to be found in a region with loads of fun stuff to do; camping is such a fun activity, and this is a tremendous location to do that. Songer Whitewater is a top pick with people of Fayetteville.
Lots of people camp here to be near Hawks
| Nest State Park. The personnel of this tremendous campground and the huge number of fun stuff to do are a fine attraction for loads of folks.
The fine variety of local attractions and such a fine variety of outdoors recreation are sure to keep you coming back time and again. You'll meet a lot of people from Oak Hill here, and if you come at the right time of year, New River offers some great whitewater.

Going to Babcock State Park near Songer Whitewater is a great thing to do, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Arbuckle Creek. Lakes? Sure, Hawk Lake is around here, and a great location like Hawks Nest State Park is too nice to leave
out.
Visiting Gauley River National Recreation Area is just something you need to do if you haven't yet, and hey, Gotta ski right? Winterplace is a glorious place to do that. If you like the outdoors, you won’t be dissatisfied; there's hiking, playing golf, whitewater paddling,
swimming, and fishing, so running out of fun stuff to do won’t happen.
Going camping here in West Virginia is something you should do. Songer Whitewater is a pretty wet place mostly with a good deal of precipitation; July is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month
of the year is February. High temperatures at Songer Whitewater during the months of summer are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 60's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 40's; winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Songer Whitewater.
