Places like Penrose Point State Park are perfect to pop by, and a good beach close by is Joemma Beach. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Duckabush River, and Joemma Beach State Park is a tremendous place to stretch your legs a bit. and the splendid abundance of fun activities makes the tour here worthwhile. Don't forget to visit Whiteman Cove if you're here at Camp Colman; get yourself into a kayak and hit Deschutes River.
