If you come at the right time of year, Potomac River offers some good whitewater, and a round of golf at nearby Laytonsville Golf Course is a delightful way to kill some time. time, Great Falls Park is a national park worth checking out. This campground is so delightful. There are other places here than Camp Olympia, for example Lake Bernard Frank, and getting to Manor Run from Camp Olympia is painless. Camp Olympia is a good place of common rain;
of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is February. If the weather is great here at Camp Olympia, you can go for a hike along the White Horse Trail, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Cabin John Creek. On a fine day at Camp Olympia you can take a hike along the Valley Trail, and Patuxent River State Park is a glorious place.
