| | Bass River Resort is a beautiful and charming place to stay. It is a first-class place to go for a day or week of fun and enjoyment. We have expanded our floating headquarters and have so much to offer that you will need to come and see it for yourself. Our congenial staff will work hard to make your visit a pleasant and memorable one.
We have a large campground with clean, modern restrooms, lodging accommodations and much more. Special events are offered every month of the year. The rates are very affordable.
The Courtois Country Store |
includes a dining area for catered meals. Buffet breakfast will be served every weekend, Saturday and Sunday mornings, Memorial Day through Labor Day. The country store is also fully stocked with grocery and camping items including ice, firewood, and beverages.
Bass River
| Resort has many fun family activities within the resort grounds including their premiere swimming pool, spacious children's playground, volleyball, hiking, and fishing.
We offer guided trail rides with three different durations. Our experienced guide leads you along the beautiful Courtois River through the scenic hills to our special mountain-top overlook. We also have kiddie rides available for children less than eight years of age and hayrides for groups of fifteen or more.

scenery you will find in the Ozarks. Floating with Bass River Resort lets you select from three delightful rivers, the Courtois, Huzzah, and Meramec. There is river rafting, kayaking, canoeing, river front camping, barbecues and first class log cabin lodging.

In addition to our spacious lodging, Bass currently added two new lodge houses to the resort. Our lodges are comfortably furnished with air conditioning, heat, restrooms with showers, refrigerator and stove. All utilities are provided at no extra cost.
You can choose from
our many riverside campsites and be just yards from the crystal clear Courtois River. Campsites accommodate 10-18 people per site. Campsites have picnic tables, fire rings, bath houses with hot showers, flush toilets, pavilions, full water and electric hookups.
Special
services include: a one-day-get-away, a one-night Ozark escape, executive combinations and weekend bonus package. Bring the entire family or your group down and take advantage of our Great Escape Plans.
Some of the other group packages include whole hog roasts, a four-day

Very splendid water scenery is available at Baumstark Lake
Dam near Bass River Resort; Henpeck Hollow is another perfect place to visit close by. The amount of precipitation that falls at Bass River Resort is close to the national average; May is the month that gets the most rain, and January meanwhile is the driest month. Don't try to
stop me, cause I'm havin' a good time here at Bass River Resort. Whitewater paddling is tremendous on Meramec River, and Bass River Resort is right by the Trace Creek Trail. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit close by Echo Valley Lake; why not take
a refreshing hike along the Berryman Trail.
Now, you may feel that's loads but there's even more amusing stuff to do here in the Ozarks. If you come to this campground, you will have a nice time for sure. The good folks of Leasburg like to hang out close by, and a trip to Onondaga
Cave State Park when you're here is never a bad idea. The warmest time of the year at Bass River Resort arrives with high temperatures in the 80's, and the night is fairly colder of course, typically in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's while Bass River Resort
night low temperatures during the winter are in the 10's.
And if that's not sufficient there's loads more exciting stuff to do in the Ozarks. Meramec State Park is a great place to take a look at on a wonderful day, and Fort Hill is a peak you can spot from Bass River Resort.
