Northcliffe Golf Club is a good golf course close by, and some of the water close by flows, like Isaac Creek. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable things at Second Crossing Camp. Get soaked paddling on Comal River, and don't leave without going to Guadalupe River State Park. Crossing Camp, and you always have a glorious time when you're here. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Cibolo Creek, and the Prospect Park Trail is a fine hiking trail close by. Whitewater paddling is great on Guadalupe River, and going for a hike along the Guadalupe Park Trail
will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. This is such a magnificent campground. While you're here at Second Crossing Camp you can play some golf at Sundance Golf Course. High temperatures at Second Crossing Camp through the months of summer are in the 90's; the
overnight is fairly chillier of course, usually in the 70's. Highs all through the wintertime are commonly in the 50's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Second Crossing Camp dip into the 30's.
