Camp Id-Ra-Ha-Je West, Colorado

| | Camp Id-Ra-Ha-Je West is Bible-based Youth Camp Teaching the Bible Since 1974. We operate as a retreat center for children, youth and adults year around. A typical week-end retreat costs $95 per person.
Our Mission:
Our greatest desire is that God would use Camp West for His glory in bringing people to him in evangelism and discipleship. Our prayer is that this occurs both in the retreats we host and the summer camps we operate for children and youth.
For good reason, we qualify the types of organizations that may use this facility |

to those who are best described as 'Bible believing'. In other words, they are churches and ministries that believe the Bible to be God's inerrant and inspired word, and live out their lives in regards to what the Bible teaches. That is not to say that all groups that use this
| camp are in total agreeement on all issues. But on the basics of biblical orthodoxy, we must agree.
Affiliations, Ownership, Denominations...
Camp Id-Ra-Ha-Je West is an independent ministry, not affiliated with any one church or denomination, and not owned by any group, individual, or church. The camp has been a ministry of trust for the past 32 years, continuing to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ and teaching the Bible as the cornerstone of this ministry.

on the teaching of the Bible. It is our distinct desire that God would utilize this facility in many ways to cause others to grow in Him. We desire the camp to be a place of scriptural discipleship, where the word is taught, studied, and lived out that we may grow in grace, and
love Jesus more each day. For how can we serve someone we do not love, and how can we love someone we do not know. And how can we know Him apart from studying His Word?

You might want to pay a visit to Snowshoe Canyon if you're here
at Camp Id-Ra-Ha-Je West, and if you're dropping by from Somerset, you won't be the only one. This campground is so great. Anthracite Creek - Ruby Fork is a magnificent whitewater spot near Camp Id-Ra-Ha-Je West, and if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Sunset
Trail. So many enjoyable things in the vicinity of Camp Id-Ra-Ha-Je West, definitely extraordinary. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Sunlight Mountain. A trip to Watson Flats revives the spirit, and if you don't mind getting soaked, you can always
go whitewater paddling on Crystal River - South Fork.
Having a great time at Camp Id-Ra-Ha-Je West is easy. There is a great hiking trail close to Camp Id-Ra-Ha-Je West called the Minnesota Pass Trail, and Paonia State Park is a good place to explore on a gorgeous day. A good
place for whitewater paddling right next door to Camp Id-Ra-Ha-Je West is Gunnison River - North Fork; you can have a great hiking adventure along the Hammond Trail. You absolutely should explore Gunnison National Forest if you're here at Camp Id-Ra-Ha-Je West; Paonia Reservoir
is a nice lake close by.
Camp Id-Ra-Ha-Je West is pretty dry ordinarily; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. Through the days of summer highs here at Camp Id-Ra-Ha-Je West reach the 70's, and the overnight
is a little chillier of course, typically in the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's; after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Camp Id-Ra-Ha-Je West plunge into the-10's. The Hammond Trail is a great hiking trail close to Camp Id-Ra-Ha-Je West, and
why not pop by Paonia Dam if you're here.
This is a great campground. Going for a hike along the Munsey Ruby Stock Driveway will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity, and a quick spree to Snowshoe Creek is absolutely a great idea.
