The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 90's to KOA Kampgrounds, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 50's with temperatures at KOA Kampgrounds dipping down into the 30's during winter nights. KOA Kampgrounds is very popular with people in Isle Of Palms. Some people camp here to be right next door to Fort Moultrie National Monument. A campground like this is too magnificent to miss. Going to Hampton Plantation State Park close to KOA Kampgrounds is a good thing to do, and there are other places here than KOA Kampgrounds, for example Lake Woodlawn. Hamlin Sound is not far from KOA Kampgrounds at all, and if you're looking for a magnificent tour,   Fort Moultrie National Monument is reasonably near. As if KOA Kampgrounds wasn't enough, you can also go swimming, hiking, playing golf, and fishing, so it's just not possible to get bored. Here at KOA Kampgrounds there are plenty of folks from Isle Of Palms, and a round of golf at nearby Rivertowne Country Club is a perfect way to kill some time. A visit to Devils Fork State Park when you're here at KOA Kampgrounds is a perfect idea, and why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Dunes West Golf Club. Such a wonderful pick of attractions and such a wonderful variety of outdoors recreation are sure to keep you coming back again and again.
