leave Penn-York Camp & Retreat Center without visiting Leonard Harrison State Park, and going for a hike along the Brown Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity.
This campground is so fine. Cedar Run is a great whitewater spot near Penn-York Camp & Retreat
Center, and you can have a glorious hiking adventure along the Crowell Hollow Trail. For the duration of the warm months at Penn-York Camp & Retreat Center highs are mostly in the 70's; all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. During the winter the highs are commonly in the 20's, and night lows through the wintertime for Penn-York Camp & Retreat Center tend to be in the 0's.
