You can catch a sight of Slocum Hill from Camp Tioga, and in case you don’t mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Spring   Brook. You can never get enough of the perfect skiing at Elk Mountain, and a fine place for whitewater paddling is Lackawanna River. Roberts Pond is a brilliant lake in close proximity to Camp Tioga, and Oquaga Creek State Park is a charming site any time of year. The kind people working here and a good variety of amusing stuff attract people from far and near. Camp Tioga is enormously well loved by campers from Thompson. All the good local attractions in the vicinity and all the outdoors recreation will certainly have you coming back repeatedly.
