Several folks stay at this campground for the purpose of being near Yellow Banks. The great variety of local attractions and the great variety of outdoors recreation are fine reasons to come. Get your camping stuff packed and hit the road; Lost Resort in Washington is a really splendid location to spend some time.
    Don't forget to take a fine little visit to Palmquist Creek; there's whitewater on Calawah River for all you adrenaline junkies.
It's not possible to run out of cool stuff to do in the neighborhood of Lost Resort; if you're seeking a splendid location to go for a weekend of
camping, this is a wonderful choice. The positive atmosphere and all the cool stuff to do have people coming from far and near.
Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in the Olympic Mountains. Bogachiel State Park is a tremendous place to stretch your legs a bit, and you can run the rapids of Soleduck River. The Olympic Mountains scenery is always striking.
This campground has so many fun things to offer. You ought to absolutely stop by charming Yellow Banks while you're here at Lost Resort, and there are other spots here than Lost
 
Resort, for example Seafield Lake. Hiking along the Allens Bay Trail is tremendous fun, and a trip to Blooms Bay is always a good idea. Lost Resort generally gets a great deal of rain; during December this area sees the most rain, and the driest month of the year is August.
Outdoors recreation is bountiful, some of the exciting stuff you can do is swimming, whitewater paddling, fishing, and hiking, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen.
For the duration of the long summer days, highs generally are in the 60's at Lost Resort, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. During the wintertime the highs are generally in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Lost Resort are in the 30's. So many enjoyable things in the Olympic Mountains, just fantastic. Lost Resort is right by the South Sand Point Trail. Now, you may feel that's lots but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Lost Resort. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Hoko River; spots like Mannys Prairie are perfect to check out.
