US Forestry Department, Florida Amenities AMENITIES Tent camping is available - The Ocala National Forest offers year round camping with a variety of amenities and recreation opportunities. Camping is available at 17 campgrounds, four group use areas, four primitive areas, two cabins and the general forest area. Individual campsites are on a first come, first served basis. All camping is 14 days within a 30 day period unless posted otherwise. RV hookups are available - 106 RV hookups - RV hookups only available at Salt Springs Campground Pets are allowed - Pets are allowed in all campgrounds and on trails, but must be on leashes no longer than six feet. Pets are not allowed in swimming or picnicking day-use areas.
