for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Feather River - North Fork, and playing golf is lots of fun at MT Huff Golf Course. There are so many enjoyable things to do close to Copper Creek Camp, and camping is such a fun activity, and this is a great place to do that.
Hiking along the Finger Board Trail is wonderful fun, and Plumas-Eureka State Park is a delightful place to stretch your legs a bit. All the lively people and the skillfully taken care of facilities have folks coming here. The good local attractions and such a vast number of things to do will make you happy you came. California is a great outdoors state.
