KOA Campgrounds is right by the Winkel Bob Trail, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by close by Annabella Reservoir. wouldn’t be complete without a tour to close by Territorial Statehouse State Park. Gotta ski! Elk Meadows is a fine site to do that; don't leave without going to Fremont Indian State Park. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site.

If the weather is pleasant here at KOA Campgrounds, you can go for a hike along the Third Lefthand Fork Trail. If you're a golfer then a pleasant close by course is Cove View Golf Course, and hiking along the Rocky Trail is tremendous fun. This campground is so glorious. At KOA Campgrounds you don’t see much precipitation. March is the month that gets the most rain; July meanwhile is the driest month.
