This campground has so many enjoyable things to offer. There are some pleasant whitewater spots on Sugar Creek; Letchworth State Park is worth visiting. If you come at the right time of year, Genesee River offers some splendid whitewater; a tour here wouldn’t be complete without a tour to nearby Silver Lake State Park. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Ridge Campsite. Through the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are usually in the 30's with temperatures at Ridge Campsite dipping down into the 10's all through winter nights. Float down the rapids of   Keshegua Creek in a kayak, and if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Woodlynn Hills Golf Course is around here. From a precipitation point of view Ridge Campsite is a reasonably typical site; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
