Pine Grove Spring Country Club is close at hand.
What a site this is for outdoors folks. A spree to Fort Dummer State Park when you're here at Camp Spofford is a great idea, and the vista of Pistareen Mountain is lovely. The good folks who operate this place and all the good
passtime activities attract people from near and far. In the event that you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Ashuelot River, and lakes are such peaceful spots, why not explore Pinnacle Pond.
A lot of rain falls at Camp Spofford; most of the
rain falls through August; February is the month with the least moisture. Whitewater paddling is perfect on Cold River; you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Living Memorial Park if you're here.
